This morning the restored ram pump was given its first run 'in anger' using the Steam Mule for power. A few adjustments remain to be made but its builder, David Young, was well pleased with the results. Here are some photos of the occasion as well as a short film...

Below: The pump, a restored Lister trolley and an old water tank plus a lot of pipework, all aimed at providing a working and interesting object as well as furthering the training range on offer for our staff to include belt work and operation of ancillary machinery.
