A couple of views of progress by the Friends...
Below: The container/coal box is nearing completion and is awaiting its metal straps (for lifting) and sheet metal 'lid'. It will be used as part of the fairground, housing a small and quiet (!) generator providing power to the lights on the gallopers. It is a plausible thing to find, as coal deliveries would be made to the fair. Rather better than a modern hut!
Below: The horse drawn street sweep is now dismantled for full restoration - so we will be able to recreate the recent scenes in the Beamish street where we borrowed Bradford Industrial Museum's example.
