Easter Activities

6th April 2010

Easter was busy with passenger trains running at the station (very successfully - five deep queues at one point! No photos yet though!), Coffee Pot in steam and various contract jobs carrying on through the weekend...

Below: Coffee Pot, after some protracted shunting, was able to make a full run along the colliery line into the exchange sidings.



Below: Later on it hauled its first train - the two chaldron waggons.

Below: Meanwhile Phil Anderson was sign-writing the Ford T van with an authentic local livery.



Below: Phil also delivered the Steam Mule water tank following lining and lettering.
